Lynn Von Kersting True Face

It is very clear that we are not interested in the designs of our customers, each  has her own one, eventually the museums and libraries are full of works of art from around the world, and ourrecords have a few hundred. We believe that Ms. Irving has no clear reason to not let us work peacefully in the U.S., which is a free, certainly respect the laws of both countries we always do.We produce what the customer wants, regardless of the value of the object material enough for us, the pleasure of recovering the memories that a cup or a bowl with our friends and theytake their name in our records, so why she do all this.
In 2,008 went we advised Ms. Irving, that the company in Italy, that sells the vitreous enamel we use in our products, was increasing their prices between 30 and 40 percent.  Not being satisfied with the damages she had already done, she promptly cancelled all existing orders and left us without any representatives and began threatening our clients with “legal notices” containing false claims that she is the owner and design of the patterns.  She also demanded we “freeze” our price list of the past 92 year. She then left us with standing orders in the warehouse.
In accordance with Ms. Irving’s style, we learned from some of our customers, that she had negotiated with an employee that we had dismissed for systematic theft and sabotage, to work with her.  He then recruited some workers who had lost their jobs as well, for the theft.  She then convinced him to remove definitely our name, Santa Barbara Ceramic. SA, completely from the products, to not leaving any trace of us, as she wanted to erase the trail from our company, and leave only her name, Lynn Von Kersting, as owner and designer.  This would completely erase the origin and history of the pattern registration, Longschamp.
It is more than obvious, after 10 years of sales to anyone and everyone, of her “intellectual creation” to the media, film, television, etc., that this was her intentions from the beginning.  She wanted in April 92,  to use the copyright claims from the Copyright Office in Washington, D.C. to eliminate us, and try to convince us that she was the owner of a design, for us is just one more of  the thousands that exist.  There is no doubt that she is the owner of the dish to be copied, but it is far different that the original design of Longchamp, prompting us to send a legal letter to clarify if she, in fact, had a contract with Longchamp.  She failed to respond to the letter, giving us the impression; she did not have a contract. It appears, as if she has no respect for actual original designers, copyright laws or the damage done to customers who think they are buying original creations of Ms. Von Kersting, or our company that wants to destroy her, to protect her secret certainly we don’t care about.
We will soon complete one hundred years of business and have survived earthquakes, world wars and other natural disasters.  We have worked with over 30 of the best hotels and restaurants in Lima and elsewhere.  Nothing, in all those years, compare to the deception and we have encounter with this experience.  It is a clear attempt to destroy anything and anyone, who might have claim to this product, so that she remains as the only owner and “designer”. Therefore, receiving any and all profits and personal credit.
The story began in 1982, when Ms. Von Kersting and her husband, Richard Irving, arrived in Lima.  We went to the luxury,Village Hotel and their restaurant, La Blue Granja, owned by the Shuler Family.  It was beautifully decorated with Colonial paintings and antique furniture.  They also had the own design plates and dishes, done by our company to sell to his visitor.
The next day, Ms. Vion Kersting arrived at our store in the Gold Museum, and there began the disaster and problems that would be, with her.  I guess you really should expect such things from someone who keeps her “husband”  and father of her daughter, at a distance and very seldom introduced.
It is a pity that the lady, has lost all she had and that exclusive to made any the difference in their local, so that now only has a copy of the dubious copy of Longchamp stolen by the dubiousemployee discharged for us. Our dear Lynn for a few cents less take those risks, we have seen in the last 30 years a single seat made for their own design, fabric or just one lamp, we have seen filling only the roofs and walls of the restaurant and shop chairs, fabrics and cheap paper balloons, as if it were the party of the Chinese dragon auction or store, apparently not noticedthe difference between a fine antique furniture and a just older rescued from a garage Sheshenia or Turkey. So how pitty to be so near and  so far from the magnificent Dising Center in Los Angeles, we are sure she has not seen in all her life.
